(Washington, DC – 7/15/26) Elevate welcomes Andrew Tabler to the firm as an Executive Vice President. Andrew will assume a significant role in our growing defense and national security team.
Andrew brings a wide breadth of knowledge across the defense and national security spaces, having served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Senate Affairs. In his role, Andrew was responsible for maintaining liaison and relationships with Senators and senior congressional staff and ensuring senior Pentagon officials were provided with up-to-date information on critical congressional activities. He oversaw the confirmation process and guided the confirmation of more than 20 senior civilian officials. Andrew also served as senior advisor to the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment and the Pentagon’s Chief Information Officer. In this capacity, he played a central role in coordinating efforts with both Congress and the defense industrial base to ensure our nation’s defense systems and stockpiles were modernized and functioning efficiently, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since his departure, Andrew has represented multiple clients in the defense and national security space, navigating the Pentagon and Congress to achieve multiple successes in that arena.

Andrew also served as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Undersecretary of the Navy, where he liaised with senior Congressional staff to support Pentagon priorities, and spent nearly five years on the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Terrorism, Unconventional Threats and Capabilities. Andrew served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve and is a graduate of The George Washington University.
